As we know India is mostly famous for its cultural heritage & its way to treat others. In India all festivals celebrated as u know with gratitude and complies way as they comes ones in a year. In India Diwali, Holi, Independence Day, etc. are major festivals celebrated in a unique way to show happiness and joy. (Nag Panchami) is one of the popular and unique festival celebrated by farmers by praying God Shiva and his necks snake that is (nag) called in India.

 This unique festival is mostly celebrated in Maharashtra which is one of state of India. By the story tellers it is assumed that the (nag raj) is one of the snake of an era which protects humans from various calamities at that time on the contrary at 21century this is because the snakes in the fields of farmers protects the crops from rats and many others insects by eating them.

At the day of (nag Panchami) all farmers and villagers pray to God Shiva and his nag (snake) to keep their eye on them. After that all farmers of village do Aarti(puja) of god Shiva one by one cracking coconut in front of god Shiva the coconut and some sweets mix with each other’s and give to villagers that you know called Prasad. On this religious day no one kill any animals or insects and all people only eat traditional Maharastrian food that we called pan wade (water soaked circle like balls) with kadi or we  can call it sundri basically (mixture of yoghurt & powder of grains).

GOD SHIVA

This spirit of India is offnaly very spiritual but it has tremendous role of religious values. This might be sound like creepy one but this only can happen in India. We just pray for all and add values to everyone’s life. Nag Panchami is one of unique festivals that celebrated in India because of this reason many of snakes who were found in any one’s home are not kill by them because they believe in god and gods thread. Reasons are many but value remains for the snakes their life are save by this all religious things that I don’t know are true or not but if it saves any one’s life then it must be worthy to it.

This festival come every year in the month of august especially at that time when all farmers just fielded their crops. At 2018 this comes on 15^th august when we celebrated our independence day.
