PUNE TOURISM

pune is one of the most popular city in maharastra. it is known for its educational values and social values & various famous places like saniwarwada. beside its education and life style it is also known as Educational HUb of maharastra. pune is central history is maharastra for more than 400 years starting with the Deccan sultanetes followed by Maratha Empire. one can surely visit pune who is intrested in historical places & beauty of nature.

THE british designated pune as the monsoon capital of bombay presidency & left many buildings and parks from that ERA. HILL stations like lonavla & khandala also date back to that era and remain popular with the peoples from pune,mumbai,aurangabad & nagpur for holidays. the mountains,forests in the district and lake created by river,dams are popular for various recretional activities such as trekking, bird watching ETC..
Saniwarvada

DUE to pune has large human history it is a 9TH most popular city in india (3,124,458). the places like shaniwarwada,shinhagad & aga khan palace which makes the pune very precious city.
the grand aga khan palace which built in 1892 & now a memorial to MAHATMA GANDHI,whose ashes are preserved in the garden. the 8TH century pataleshwar cave temple is dedicated to the hindu god SHIVA.

THE weather of pune is quiet simple it has an average temperature of 26 centigrade & about 81% humidity. the most favorable time to visit pune is from monsoon to starting of summer in india so that one can enjoy the grneery & water falls near pune.

THERE are many hoteles in pune from 3 star to 5 star which charges nearley 2 to 5 thousands rupees for 3 nights so that you don't want to worry about living.

THE main highlight of pune is the RAJIV GANDHI ZOOLOGICAL PARK, commonly knows as rajiv gandhi zoo OR katraj zoo is located in katray pune distric. it is managed by the pune muncipal corporation. the 130 acre (53hectre) zoo is divided into 3 parts an animal orphanage,a snake park & a zoo & included a lake called katraj lake. the main attraction of zoo is white tigres & BENGAL TIGRES.
